After starting their separate ways in the 80s and with many successes behind him, now Teo Martin and Emilio de Villota have joined forces for the team Motorsport Teo Martin acquired a new dimension in 2016.
Champions after winning the International GT Open 2015 with McLaren 650 S GT3 driven by Miguel Ramos and Alvaro Parente, the new season brings new challenges for the team. A title defense of the International GT Open, Teo Martin Motorsport adds its stake in the new V8 3.5 Formula after buying the cars of Team DAMS, winners of the World Series in 2014 with Spanish driver Carlos Sainz and will also be heading Open the Euroformula following the acquisition of part of the Madrid team Emilio de Villota Motorsport.
International GT Open
After 15 years out of competition, Teo Martin's return to the slopes in 2015 could not be more successful in achieving the title of the International GT Open with Miguel Ramos and Alvaro Parente.
In 2016 the BMW Team Teo Martin has two BMW M6 GT3, the full support of the German mark for the defense of his crown and four talented drivers: Miguel Ramos, Roldan Rodriguez, Gustavo Yacamán and Fernando Monje.
Miguel Ramos will defend the title won with the team in the category last year and will try to extend the palmares of a career that began 25 in autocross in your country and which has been enshrined as one of the pilots references in the world GT.
The Portuguese will mate Roldan Rodriguez. Valladolid will face for the first time a season out of the cars but has already shown a quick adaptation to the new M6 GT3 team and has a brilliant career in single-seaters in which his performance came to open the doors of Formula 1 .
Gustavo Yacamán has proven experience driving big cars, with a third place in the overall World LMP2 Resistance as best international result.
Fernando Monje will partner the Colombian and joins the team after his positive experience in the final round last year in Barcelona, ??where he won a victory making it clear that pilot may be a pointer in the category. In his record he highlights the title of European Touring Car Champion (ETCC) in 2012 in his first year in the championship.
