His relationship with Emilio de Villota continued in 2010, when he participated in European F3 Open. He finished sixth overall, was the best rookie and made the Pole Position in his race debut. After that, he remained one more season in the championship to keep learning in single-seaters.

The 2012 season was a defining moment for Fernando because he won the European Touring Car Cup title in his first attempt, winning too the first and only Nations Trophy for Spain showing a fast adaption to the touring cars after three years racing in single-seaters. He had no rival that year with six wins, three Pole Position and seven fastest laps in eight races.

That year he participated in the World Touring Car Championship too, where he started to gain experience in this series, achieving two points in his first year an then, he raced in 2013 season.

His debut in the International GT Open was in 2014, with some races on his back and last season he debuted in the TCR, where he scored a podium in his four races there. In 2015 he also had his second experience in the International GT Open, where he raced the Barcelona final with Teo Martin Motorsport and its McLaren for the first time. He won a race and he made clear that he can be a top driver in this series.

Fernando Monje
'I am very happy to be back with Teo Martin after the success in last yearâ??s race at Montmelo. I am also delighted to work again with Emilio after the experience together in Formula 3, so Iâ??m eager to drive the BMW M6 GT3 in the next test in Barcelona. The standards are very high after the team won the International GT Open title last year, so the goal should be to go for the title again'.

Teo Martin
'Fernando's first contact with Emilioâ??s team was only when he was 14 years old and the personal relationship that has remained with him since then has been very good. We know well his driving skills and after the positive experience with our team in the International GT Open in 2015, we hope to achieve many successes together since this season'.
